Differences in Reiki Energy

I feel that Reiki energy is really different from person to person, like how open the person is determines how much she or he will receive?

The experience of giving and receiving Reiki can be different for every person. Each person receives energy differently. It depends on how ready they are for healing, and how open they are to making changes in their lives. If a person knows that they are not ready, they will simply tell you not to give them Reiki. If a person says yes to receiving a healing, but then it seems like they are not receiving energy, it tells us that at a deeper level that they are not ready to receive.
